1970 Ferrari Dino 246GT – LHD

L-Series Dino built for the Italian market in Rosso Chiaro with Nero skai interior, Black carpets.

Introduced in March 1969 following the limited production of just 150 Dino 206 GTs, the Dino 246 GT represented a significant step forward in performance and refinement. Built across three series—L, M, and E—a total of 3,761 examples were produced in coupé and Spider form. The L-series cars, distinguished by their centre-lock “knock-off” wheels and limited to only 357 units, are the rarest and most sought after of the model.

This L-series Dino 246 GT, chassis 0976, benefits from being owned by one of our directors as his personal car since 1998 was completed on 3rd July 1970, finished in the quintessential Ferrari shade of Rosso Chiaro (20‑R‑190) over Nero 161 vinyl. Built to Italian specification and delivered new by Nocentini Automobili S.p.A, Firenze it features kilometre-calibrated instruments, centre-lock magnesium wheels, and headrests mounted to the rear bulkhead, a unique feature with early-production L-series examples.

Consistent with the meticulous care provided by our director, who has owned the car for the last 28 years, it remains largely in the same condition as when he purchased it from its previous Swiss owner. This 246 Dino is in superb condition—a rarity for the model—having never been restored and not requiring any restoration.

Its remarkable provenance is documented with extensive records dating from 1970 onward, including purchase documents, customs forms, various registration papers, period photographs, and owner’s books. The car also comes with a tool roll and a letter from the Maranello Archive confirming its specification 0976, making it a beautifully preserved example of the rarest Dino 246 GTs.

1976 Porsche 934

One of only 31 Porsche 934s produced, Chassis #0172 was the 22nd of the 31 and was sold new in 1976 to the Firestone Tire importer in Germany.

Boasting a long and distinguished racing history with no major accidents, including eleven podiums and eighteen race wins, along with a documented ownership history supported by a condition & history report from one of the World’s leading Porsche experts.

When the 934 debuted, it was remarkably close to production specification, making it an ideal candidate for road conversion especially as the 934’s all had good ground clearance. We have slightly softened the race car feel with the engine tuned for better drivability, allowing it to start from cold, idle smoothly, and deliver power progressively. The result is a 480 bhp car weighing around 1,100 kg, making it a relatively simple conversion to a radicle road car.

Inside, it retains a road car feel, enhanced with a few racing upgrades: Fully carpeted cabin with two custom upholstered racing seats with matching door panels, and new dash top and a colour coded custom leather-covered roll cage, and small-diameter steering wheel. The factory equipped 934’s with power windows, which we retained and are still functional.

Although there are a handful of other 934’s converted for road use, our car has been uniquely and sympathetically converted with a more road car feel to the interior in our own workshops and road registered in the UK/EU . All original parts removed during this process have been carefully retained, allowing for a straightforward conversion back to full race specification by us or any competent race engineering shop with our guidance.

Hispano Suiza H6C ‘Tulipwood’

In the late 1980s, a devoted Hispano-Suiza collector embarked on an extraordinary project.

Unable to acquire André Dubonnet’s original H6C ‘Tulipwood’ — the famed French flying ace’s personal car — he set about recreating it. Piece by piece.

A correct period chassis, 8-litre C-spec engine and gearbox were sourced, restored, and meticulously married to hand-built wooden coachwork which has been set using thousands of brass rivets.

Long before digital archives, every stage of the six-year build was captured on Polaroid and in faxed documents: a tactile record of supreme and period craftsmanship.

Since its completion in the early 1990s, 1162 has been driven as it was meant to be by its owner, taking part in historic rallies and being used daily in Monaco, parking the car outside the Café De Paris in the exact same position as André Dubonnet did the original all those years ago.

Period authenticity
• Constructed entirely from genuine Hispano-Suiza components
• Built to the exact specification of André Dubonnet’s 1924 H6C ‘Tulipwood’

Engineering
• Correct 8-litre C-spec Hispano-Suiza engine and original gearbox
• Correct period chassis and running gear to match the original car

Coachwork
• Hand-crafted wooden body, built using thousands of individually set brass rivets
• Based precisely on original factory drawings and period photographs

Documentation
• Accompanied by extensive archive including original faxes and Polaroids

Never before offered for sale. This remarkable H6C embodies devotion, precision, and an enduring reverence for pre-war motoring. Please contact us for further details.

1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/6C

1966 UK delivery RHD Ferrari 275 GTB/6C Berlinetta by Scaglietti Chassis # 08181. One of just 4 RHD alloy, 6-carburetor, torque tube 275 GTB’s built.

Recently completely restored and certified as all matching numbers by Ferrari Classiche, Maranello, Italy In the original colour combination of Verde Scuro Speciale / Nero leather seats.

Post restoration was driven by Charles Leclerc at Fiorano who exclaimed:
‘What an incredible car to drive’ ‘It’s pure joy – the sound is incredible, the feeling is amazing, and you can sense the story behind it.

As the latest evolution of Ferrari’s 250-series, the 275 GTB was a direct replacement for the 250 GT/L Berlinetta Lusso, and while not all ranked the Scaglietti-built newcomer the aesthetic equal of its predecessor, the new gran turismo was undeniably superior in almost every other regard.

An enlarged more powerful 3.3-litre engine, a rear-mounted five-speed transaxle contributed to near-perfect weight distribution, ensured the 275 was one of the best-handling roadgoing Ferraris to ever leave Maranello. It was also one of the quickest, with an eye-opening 0-60 Mph time of six seconds and a top speed in excess of 170 Mph.

As time went on the 275 was further tweaked in mid-1965 with “long-nose” bodywork, while in early 1966 a torque tube was added to enhance the driving experience. Those seeking even greater performance could, as was done with 08181 specify six Weber carburettors in place of the standard triple Weber arrangement, and opt for competition-derived aluminium coachwork in place of standard steel.

08181 has a fully documented ownership history and as part of the restoration carried out by Ferrari Classiche in Maranello, there is unparalleled historical documentation which carries information down to the tiniest detail, such as the build sheets outlining the original specifications, along with the designs of each component, and supporting items such as the bill of materials and the sales papers, proving the car is now exactly as it was when delivered new in 1966 by Maranello Sales in the UK the Ferrari importer at the time.

1965 Aston Martin DB5 Coupe

Cars International Heritage are proud to offer for sale this beautifully restored DB5 Coupe.

  • Total restoration by Cars International
  • Engine upgraded to 4.2 L Specification
  • Originally supplied in LHD to the USA
  • Supplied new with Factory Air Conditioning
  • Fascinating history from new
  • Wonderful accompanying book researched by last owner

Chassis DB5/2266/L was originally purchased by Mr P.A. Lacey of Fort Lauderdale Florida and supplied in White or ‘Platinum’ from the AM colour chart with Black Connolly Vaumol leather trim and all-important Whitewall Avon Turbospeed GT tyres to match the George Harrison DB5. The Factory records confirm the guarantee was issued 20th July 1965 and registered for the road as DGY 336C.

A successful American businessman based in London with homes in Spain and South Africa, Price Andrew Lacey or ‘Andy’ to all that knew him well used the DB5 extensively to tour Europe and South Africa during his time in London. Many of these journeys were recorded on handwritten logs including those from South Africa where the DB5 was used for road trips between his property in Johannesburg and Cape Town, around 1000 miles. It must have been an incredible sight on the roads of SA in the 60s.

In all, Andy clocked up 62,000 miles in just over four years before selling the DB5 to fellow American and NASA employee based in Spain – Alvin Lopez. Returning to the US in 1970, Lopez shipped the DB5 to the USA, its intended destination following production at Newport Pagnell in 65.

Alvin Lopez kept the DB5 for a short time and advertised the car for sale in 1971. Utah based petrol head Wilfred Day saw the advert and made the trip to Pomona California where he purchased chassis 2266/L for $3800. A big fan of native American Muscle cars, Wilfred was keen to add a European GT to his collection and was drawn to the DB5’s beguiling lines.
Wilfred would keep the DB5 for 35 years, until 2007 clocking up a further 40,000 miles on the odometer. During his lengthy ownership the DB5 became a much-loved part of the family regularly taking part in AMOC rallies and shows.

The story jumps forward to 2015 when a US based English film and TV Director based in Los Angeles spots the DB5 at a dealers based in San Diego. Before purchasing the DB5, he visits Wilfred Day and learns about the history of the car from someone who ultimately knows it intimately. Fascinated by the history and background, the DB5 is purchased with the intension of a full restoration to factory original specification.

Choosing Cars International to carry out a total restoration of the car, chassis 2266/L returned to the UK in its 50th year. Completed towards the end of 2016, the restoration included upgrading the engine to 4.2 litres.

The Aston lives once again back in the US, based in Los Angeles and is for sale worldwide with Cars International Heritage.

1954 Pegaso Z-102 Saoutchik Coupe Speciale

Designed by Wifredo Ricart – chief engineer at pegaso (ex – Alfa Romeo under Ferrari) this Spanish built GT is one of approximately 18 cars with aluminium bodywork by French coachbuilder Saoutchik.

  • Chassis no. 0102-150 0148 – Engine no. 0102-017 0148
  • Believed to be one of five surviving LHD Saoutchik-bodied Series II Berlinettas
  • The 1954 Paris Auto Salon show car
  • Period competition history
  • Previously part of a number of world famous collections

Originally displayed at the 1954 Paris Salon, the Grand Palais is where Parisian Jean-Claude Lamy saw this Saoutchik bodied Pegaso and immediately purchased it. A keen Rally enthusiast, Lamy entered several rallies including the ’54 Rallye Pan Armoricaine, and the following year’s Rallye Sablé-Solesmes.

Like so many European exotics, the Saoutchik coupé found its way to the USA where Don Rickert used the car in and around Alabama until May 1964 when it was sold to Bill Harrah, the gambling industry magnate who added the Pegaso to his ever-growing collection in Reno, Nevada. Harrah kept the highly original Z-102B in his 1450-car museum until his death in 1978.

Subsequently the Harrah collection was greatly reduced through a series of private sales and auctions, and the Pegaso was acquired by Ralph Englestad for the Imperial Palace Auto Collection in Las Vegas.

In 2017 the museum closed and the Pegaso was sold to a private collector and totally restored to Pebble Beach standards. The Saoutchik bodywork was enhanced with the glamorous two-tone paint scheme inspired by the Series BS2 Éspecial.

In February 2019, 76 years after its debut in the Grand Palais, the Saoutchik coupé returned to Paris for display at the World famous Rétromobile.

Currently forming part of a World class collection of a well-known European collector, this extremely rare and desirable Saoutchik bodied Pegaso is available exclusively with Cars International Heritage.

1965 Lancia Flaminia 2800 3C ‘Super Sport’

Cars International Heritage are delighted to offer this exceptionally restored Lancia Flaminia ‘Super Sport’ Zagato 3C.

  • Recent no expense spared total nut and bolt restoration by renowned Marque specialist Thornley Kelham
  • Last-series ‘Super Sport’ Flaminia Zagato featuring their trademark “double bubble” roofline, pop out door handles and triple Weber carburettors
  • Finished in silver with Connolly Vaumol Tan leather
  • One of only 187 built between 1964 and 1967
  • Offered from a prominent and long established Private European Collection

Available as a saloon, coupe, and convertible, the Flaminia was Lancia’s flagship model from 1957 to 1970, replacing the Aurelia. The coupe and convertible were coachbuilt by Pininfarina and Carrozzeria Touring respectively.

The coupe sport and super sport were built by Zagato using a shortened GT chassis with all aluminium bodywork. The famous ‘double bubble’ roof was a feature found on all Flaminia Zagatos.

Power came from the 60-degree 2.5 and later 2.8 Litre overhead-valve Lancia V6 mounted longitudinally, powering the rear wheels through a 4-speed rear-mounted De Dion transaxle with inboard brakes.

Original documentation on file confirms chassis 002094 was registered ‘J4675’ in Jersey, ‘ex Italy’ on 17 August 1970. The registered owner was Robert Sangan of Saint Clement, a parish of Jersey.

In 1974, the car passed to John Cronin of St Peter, Jersey followed by fellow Jersey resident Peter Amy of St Lawrence in 1975, and later resided in St Ouen in 1977.

A customs form dated 16 September 1978 confirms the car’s importation to the United Kingdom. The importer was listed as Gerald David Malin near Edinburgh. The car’s value was declared as  600.00, with VAT due of  91.50. The chassis number 2094 and engine number 2088 are clearly noted in these documents. Our exhaustive checks have confirmed although it cannot be guaranteed without doubt we are highly confident the engine is the original unit fitted from new.

By September 1994 the Lancia was purchased by David Read of Switzerland. Read commissioned UK specialist Richard Thorne to undertake restoration work which commenced in 2000 including bodywork preparation for a full re-paint.

The Lancia found a new Swiss based owner in January 2017 who commissioned award winning UK specialist Thornley Kelham to undertake a total restoration to concours standards at a cost of just over  330,000 GBP. The complete body off ‘nut and bolt’ works by the concours-winning craftsmen took two years and has resulted in the exceptional car you see here. All records and full photographic record of the restoration is included in the comprehensive documentation file.

Forming part of an important UK collection and previously exhibited at the London Concours and Hampton Court Concours in 2020, the Super Sport is UK registered / UK Taxes paid.

1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight (M471)

The 1973 RS was the Homologation-Series 911 Porsche had to build in order to qualify its pure racing 2.8-litre 911 RSR for Group 5 competition. The FIA mandated that at least 500 examples of the RS were required, so Porsche set to work.

Two versions were offered, both based on the 1973 911S 2.4 coupe, a touring version M472, which retained much of the interior trim and features of the standard car and a Lightweight/Sport option M471 was the racing-oriented basis for the RSR.

One of 200 M471 RS Lightweights produced, the early history of chassis 9113600810 is well known. 0810 was delivered new in 1973 to German Rally Ace Heinz Walter Schewe in the rare and desirable special-order colour code 328, Gulf Blue.

The comprehensive history file for 0810 contains original factory invoices from 1976, an important year for Schewe and his RSL. Schewe would win the German Rally Championship outright in 1976 with a number of Porsche 911 Carreras at his disposal & would go on to own chassis 0810 for 40 years until 2013.

Chassis 0810 was used to compete in Wales at the 24th Lombard RAC Rally in November 1976 with co-driver Franz-Josef Moormann as car #44. On file are the original invoices for RAC Rally preparation carried out at the factory in Stuttgart just prior to the event. This also includes the invoices for a factory replacement type 915 gearbox and clutch. Schewe would not complete the Rally after crashing out. Our expert investigations into the originality of the car with a well-known and respected UK based Porsche specialist confirms this major event in 0810s competition past prior to it being completely restored by Schewe to the condition it is presented in today with a correct for a 1973 RS type 911/83 but non-matching engine.

As a direct result of this period international competition history in the hands of a championship winning owner/driver, the car would undoubtably have needed various repairs after each campaign to meet the gruelling schedule for each season. The value and asking price for 0810 today is considerably lower than one may expect. We are aware of this part of 0810s history and to this end is now priced accordingly for an RS Lightweight in the condition it is presented in today.

Previously registered and correctly documented by the German authorities including a TUV certificate, now currently registered in the UK as 9113600810 and is offered complete with FIA HTP ‘Appendix K’ papers Period: H1 – 1972 to 1975 for racing, rally and hill climb valid until December 2029.

Therefore, chassis 0810 with its important period competition history, complete with its original documentation has the potential to be campaigned at major historic events such as Mont Ventoux, Modena Cento Ore and Tour Auto etc and would be a welcome entrant at concours events Worldwide.
